Accident
and Personal Injury Claims
Claims
for Damages
Injuries caused by the negligent or deliberate
acts of another person or corporate body such as road traffic
accidents, or as a result of a breach of a statutory duty,
for example, highway tripping accidents or accidents at work,
normally give rise to a claim for damages. The amount of such
damages will of course vary depending upon the severity of
the injuries, other financial losses incurred, such as loss
of earnings, and the degree of any impairment of future earning
capacity.

specialist personal injury panel of Solicitors handling claims
on behalf of claimants.
Negotiations
with Insurance Companies
We can advise you as to whether your
injuries are likely to give rise to a claim as well as the
merits and likely value of such claim. Negotiations will be
commenced as part of the pre-action protocol between Solicitors
and Insurers to attempt to achieve a satisfactory settlement
without the necessity for Court proceedings. If it does become
necessary to commence proceedings, we will advise you in this
respect and handle the case on your behalf which may include
a hearing before the Court, although it is often still possible
to effect a settlement of your claim without an actual Court
hearing even after proceedings have been commenced.
Funding
of your Claim
Community
Legal Services Funding is now only available in very limited
circumstances, subject to eligibility. Alternatively, we will
be able to advise you in relation to other appropriate forms
of funding of your claim, including Conditional Fee Agreements
and "After the Event" legal expense insurance cover.
