Matters
We
are able to advise both employers and employees on all matters
concerning their contracts of employment.
Employment
law is a rapidly developing area of law and is particularly
affected by the influence of the EEC.
Employers
For
employers it is extremely important to consider all
the implications of any decision that may affect your employees
before deciding what action to take. Even though the action
you may be considering may seem fair and reasonable to you
an Employment Tribunal may not agree. Even fair and reasonable
actions can give rise to claims if the correct procedure is
not followed. Since the raising of the financial limit on
awards by Employment Tribunals mistakes can prove to be very
costly.
If
you are thinking of buying or selling a business the law imposes
very strict obligations in relation to the transfer of employees
contracts of employment which need to be considered at an
early stage in any negotiations.
If
you do receive a claim compensation by employees we are able
to arrange for your representation before the Employment Tribunal.
Employees
Employees
who have been unfairly treated by their employer may have
a claim for compensation. The time limit for making a claim
to the Employment Tribunal is very limited. If you believe
that your have a claim then you should seek advice at the
earliest possible opportunity. If you have a claim then we
can assist you in preparing your claim and arrange for your
representation before the Employment Tribunal.
